Georgian welcomes students who already have relevant postsecondary credits from recognized and accredited institutions and/or life and learning experience. We’ll help you obtain credit for prior learning toward comparable courses in a Georgian program so you can complete your program and launch your career sooner!

Transferring to Georgian

If you’ve previously attended another accredited postsecondary institution or have relevant work/life experience, see how you may be eligible to transfer credit towards a Georgian program.

Previous postsecondary education

Have you completed courses, or some or all of a program, at another accredited postsecondary institution? If so, you may be able to transfer all or some of your courses into a related program at Georgian. You may even be eligible to transfer into an upper semester or year of a Georgian program (advanced standing). YORKC does not guarantee credit course transfer to Georgian. YORKC Students applying to Georgian will have to have their credit transfer eligibility assessed on an individual basis, considering factors such as grade point average, program of graduation, program of application relevant life/work experience and/or any other admissions requirements.
